Bucher's Carmine Ink
Pure Carmine, twelve grains, Water of Ammonia
three ounces, dissolve, then add Powdered Gum eighteen grains. One-half
drachm of Powdered Drop Lake may be substituted for the Carmine, where
expense is an object.
